A five-day intensive bootcamp that takes upper secondary students inside the world of finance. Led by industry experts and researchers — including a veteran derivatives trader and an assistant professor from Hong Kong PolyU — students learn to analyse live market data, build real financial models, and pitch their own investment strategies.
The programme moves from the ground up: financial foundations and risk assessment in the early days, into modelling, valuations, derivatives, and hedging, before culminating in a capstone showcase where students present their work and compete for awards. Along the way, they build practical, career-relevant skills in Excel and financial modelling, portfolio construction, valuation and deal analysis, AI-powered analysis, and investor pitching.
Guided by Dr. Allen Tai Hoi-Lun of PolyU's Department of Applied Mathematics and Wilson Lee, Co-Head of Asia Equity Derivatives at SG Securities, this is a rare chance for students to learn how markets really work — and to imagine a future building within them. A five-day intensive bootcamp where younger students learn to build real iOS apps from scratch. Led by industry experts and educators — including a veteran system architect and instructor from Hong Kong PolyU — students learn to code in Swift, design real applications, and pitch their own creations.
The programme builds step by step: from Swift foundations and programming basics, through logic, modules, and app refinement, to a final capstone showcase where students demo their apps and compete for awards. Throughout, they develop genuine technical and creative skills — Swift and SwiftUI programming, iOS app prototyping, UI/UX design thinking, data and state management, testing and debugging, and app pitch presentation.
Guided by Leo Lui Shing Fai, an instructor at PolyU and AI & EdTech system architect with over 20 years in technology education, this bootcamp gives students the tools to turn their ideas into working apps. Open to upper primary and lower secondary students and free of charge.

This Invent Your Own Future event brings students into direct conversation with some of Hong Kong's most accomplished figures in medicine and healthcare enterprise. Moderated by Preston Chan, Founder of IYOF, and Jacky Kwan, Chairman of the Primary Care Education Foundation, the discussion features an expert panel spanning clinical practice, pharmaceutical leadership, and health-tech entrepreneurship.
Panellists include Dr. Chan Chi Kwok, a urology specialist with over 30 years of experience; Mr. Tony Cheng, Managing Director of Merck; Dr. Eric Chu, Founder of NYMG; and Ms. Bikie Wong, Founder of Grand Brilliance Group Holdings.
